Me and my good friends, Steve and Taylor before Trek 2008's ride
Every year the first weekend in June, myself and some good friends do a 100 mile bike ride, called the Trek 100. The purpose of this ride is for raising money and awareness for childhood cancer. "Today, up to 80% of children with cancer can be cured. But cancer still remains the leading disease-related cause of death in children. Help us continue the battle against childhood cancer and related blood disorders during the 20th Anniversary Trek 100 Ride for Hope!" Click here for some childhood cancer facts. I can't imagine one of my boys having cancer or anyone of my loved ones...help me as I raise money for the cause. Please make a donation at my site...click here. My corporation will match up to 300 dollars of your donations.-Ben Hale

Are you sure that helmet fits your head Ben? Looks a little small up there.
I didn't have it strapped down. Don't worry, I went out and bought a new helmet anyway.
Wow, freakin Lance Armstrong was there?!? Holy cow! You look very attractive on the bike. Whooo Whoo! Congrats on the Trek and raising money. Amazing

Ben,
I think you look like the gentle giant standing beside those other two guys! This is one impressive ride. I am sure we can find you one to do here in Kansas City once you move here. Right??? :) Jeff would love you to train him. Thanks for letting Tara come see us. We all had a great time. Because you sent her - I'm gonna donate to your cause!!! Good luck on your race! Hope you win!
Way to go. Just to want to do that is very impressive. Hope things are going well. Can't wait to see you guys this summer. Have a weekend saved at the cabin, if you want to go.
